1. BSFF, acronym for Be Set Free Fast developed by psychologist, Larry Nelm, early student of Calahan, along with Gary Craig, Fred Gallo, et al, he was authorized by Calahan to teach TFT and subsequently evolved a distinct technique in which tapping required one time, the auricular tap done three times around ear while instructing the subconscious mind to treat any problem by simply saying a cue word. ie the chosen word would replace at the previously multi tapping of the short or full version as defined by Gary Craig. 2. Gary Craig. I believe he is retiring because he is literally worn out, first from the time he has given in building EFT into what it has become, literally hours of innovating, developing, testing and teaching the product of his insights and learning. Secondly, in his most recent newsletter he alluded to a number of lawsuits internationally, requiring the employing of five attorneys to deal with these issues. Only he and those close to him can possibly know what this is all; about. I am sure that he is troubled by it and no heir apparent as yet because he is sensitive to his or her being subject to the legal allegations, whatever they may be. He also referred to the volumes upon volumes of antiques and artifacts in the EFT archives that are involved in any transfer of the modality itself. Certainly his retirement is a loss and a disruption of the orderly process through which he channeled information to all of us. EFT. however, will continue through time as a highly effective modality available to therapists and lay persons alike. Of course, too, there are those already well known in the EFT (Carol Look, for example) who are innovated and who have already contributed much. No doubt they will continue.
