Dear Cal, Meredith, and Elronn,
Thanks for all the great podcasts. I tune in every week and am grateful for all the advice and insights you offer.
I have a question about anchoring. One thing that Cal encourages us to do during the Elman-Banyan induction is to press on the client's shoulder as he or she is counting during the "Lose the Numbers" portion of the induction. I realize how this helps the client relax--especially if you are timing it with the exhale and saying "double your relaxation" as you press.
But my question is about what you do with that relaxation anchor after establishing it. Are there any times during a session when you would want to deliberately return to that anchor again--during an AR, for example, when the client is getting a little resistant? Could any of you explain how (or even if) you use anchoring techniques during 5-PATH?
Thanks a lot!
Richard Blake
